Teej is the most famous festival among Hindu women. Teej is traditionally dedicated to the Goddess Parvati,  remembering her union with Lord Shiva. Teej Festival is observed for everlasting intimacy between married couples, well being of family and purgation of soul and body.  It is fascinating to see women, in “Red” dancing and singing on the street, going to temple in holy and fasting mood. 

To recognize and celebrate one of the biggest festival, NepSoSS is hosting 2016 Teej Celebration on 3rd September 2016.  

The prices for the tickets are as follows:

Food Ticket: 

$15 Per Adult (over 12), 

$10 per Children (5-12), 

Free for under 5. 

Venue Entry Ticket: $5 Each Family, $3 for Single

Food Services: A full course of meal will be provided by catering as last year.  

Similar to last year, this year's event is also ticketed. One ticket provides entry to the venue where you can enjoy with friends and families. The ticket also includes a full course of dinner provided by catering services.

Note: If you would like to perform during the event do not hesitate to inform the NepSoSS Team and we will make necessary arrangements.

Teej Puja​

We are planning to request Hindu Samaj for the Teej puja and Rishi Panchami puja at the temple. Teej pu​j​a will be organized in the afternoon of Sunday Sep​tember​ 04 and Rishi Panchami Puja in the evening of Tuesday September 06 if we get enough interests.​ Please let us know if you are interested in one or both Puja programs via the link below.
